The aim of the course “Fundamentals of Object-Oriented Programming” is:

  • to study the principles of design and development of enterprise-level distributed information systems;
  • to study the template-based approach to designing enterprise applications and the Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE) platform;
  • to study methods and tools for data processing using XML-based technologies; to study the principles of interaction between enterprise applications and database management systems (DBMS);
  • to study methods and tools for implementing a component-based approach to building enterprise applications within the Java EE platform;
  • to acquire practical skills in designing, developing, and using enterprise applications on the Java EE platform.
