The aim of the academic discipline.
The aim of the academic discipline is to develop students’ abilities in:
- analyzing the structural features of parallel computer systems (PCS);
- designing and analyzing parallel algorithms;
- developing parallel programs using the process concept;
- organizing process interaction through the shared-memory model;
- organizing process interaction through the message-passing model.
