The aim of the credit module “Design of Complex Systems” is to provide students with practical skills in designing complex information, application software, control, and computer hardware systems, in particular:
- studying the principles of building and designing complex discrete technical and software systems of special purpose;
- studying methods and tools for constructing conceptual and design models of complex systems using object-oriented analysis and design technology;
- studying the features of building static and dynamic models of the designed system, as well as class diagrams;
- studying computer-aided design tools;
- studying modern modeling description languages, in particular UML (Unified Modeling Language).
